Adding to Your Home Screen

For the best experience, you can add Dragon's Hoard to your device's home screen. This makes it work just like a native app—it launches full-screen, has its own icon, and is always just one tap away.

For iPhone & iPad

You can add the app to your home screen directly from the Safari browser.

1. Open your Dragon's Hoard link in the Safari browser.
2. Tap the Share button. It's the icon with a square and an arrow pointing up, usually at the bottom or top of the screen.
3. In the menu that appears, scroll down and tap on Add to Home Screen.
4. Confirm the name for the icon and tap Add in the top-right corner.
5. The Dragon's Hoard icon will now appear on your home screen.

For Android Devices

You can install the app to your home screen from the Chrome browser.

1. Open your Dragon's Hoard link in the Chrome browser.
2. Tap the three-dot menu button in the top-right corner.
3. In the menu, look for and tap on Install app (or Add to Home screen on some older versions).
4. Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm.
5. The Dragon's Hoard icon will be added to your home screen or app drawer.

Troubleshooting: Older iPads

On some older iPads, the app may not remember your login the first time you open it from your newly created home screen icon. If you are sent back to the parent login page, don't worry. This is easy to fix.

Simply follow these steps one time from within the home screen app:

1. Tap the "Have a child's link? Enter it here" link.
2. Paste the unique share link again and go to the PIN screen.

This one-time step saves the link permanently to your home screen app's memory. From then on, it will always remember who you are and take you to the correct PIN pad when your session expires.
