Dashboard Tabs

The main dashboard is organized into tabs that let you view your hoard in different ways. You can switch between them using the navigation menu. The available tabs are: Transactions, Goals, Interest, Hoard, Progress, and (optionally) Chores.

Transactions Tab

This is the default view and the heart of your ledger. It shows a complete history of all the treasure that has been added to or spent from your hoard.

Each row in the table represents a single transaction, with columns for:

• Date: The date the transaction occurred.
• Description: A note about where the treasure came from or what it was spent on.
• Amount: The value of the transaction. Positive amounts (deposits) are shown in green, while negative amounts (withdrawals) are shown in red.

If you are logged in as a parent, you will also see an Actions column allowing you to Edit or Delete any transaction.

Goals Tab

The Goals tab helps you save for specific things. Here you can create savings goals and track your progress toward achieving them.

Each goal is displayed on a card with:

• The goal's name (e.g., "New Video Game").
• A progress bar that visually compares your current total hoard balance to the goal amount.
• The dollar amounts of your current balance vs. the goal's target amount.

As a parent, you can Add a New Goal, Edit an existing goal's name or amount, or Delete a goal.

Interest Tab

This tab shows you the total amount of interest your hoard has earned. The app automatically calculates interest daily and deposits it into your account at the beginning of each month.

You can use the filters at the top to see the interest earned over different periods:

• All Time
• Last Year
• Last Month

Hoard Tab

This tab provides a fun, visual representation of your total balance. Your hoard is automatically broken down into piles of different coins and gems, each representing a different value:

• Diamond: $1,000
• Gold Coin: $100
• Silver Coin: $10
• Bronze Coin: $1

The legend at the bottom of the tab explains the value of each item. The more you save, the bigger your pile of treasure will grow!

Progress Tab

The Progress tab contains a line chart that shows the growth of your hoard over time.

To give you a better visual reference, the chart will also automatically display dashed lines for your two most relevant savings goals: a green line for the highest-value goal you have already met, and a red line for the next goal you are currently working towards.

• The horizontal axis (bottom) represents the date.
• The vertical axis (left) represents the total size of your hoard in dollars.

You can hover your mouse (or tap on mobile) over any point on the line to see your exact balance on a specific date. This is a great way to see how your savings habits have paid off!

Chores Tab (Optional)

The Chores tab is an optional feature that parents can enable to track completed chores over time. When enabled, this tab displays:

• For Parents: Full chore management interface with buttons to define chores, file reports, and view historical data through a stacked area chart and report ledger
• For Kids: A read-only view showing the chore completion chart, allowing them to see their progress without editing capabilities

The Chores tab only appears when chore tracking has been enabled for that child's account. For complete details on using this feature, see the Chore Tracking help article.
